Wednesday, September 28th starting at 6:30 pm, the Seaside Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) will moderate a Candidates’ Forum for applicants for Seaside’s and Gearhart’s City Council positions. The forum will be held at the Seaside City Hall (989 Broadway). It will also be live-streamed via the City of Seaside on YouTube. (*see photo)
Eleven people have filed for five positions; three seats in Seaside and two seats in Gearhart. Candidates will briefly introduce themselves and then answer questions about issues in their community. The public is invited. The audience will be asked to supply questions. This is not a debate. Response times will be limited.
