Looking for volunteers - Citizen Sand Dune Advisory Committee

The City of Gearhart wants to adopt updated language for City ordinances related to vegetation management in the dunes and a dune management plan for the City. The first step in this process is gathering a citizen Sand Dune Advisory Committee to draft ordinance language to present to city council. The committee will meet twice a month to evaluate scientific information related to sand dune vegetation, select a preferred strategy for vegetation, and draft ordinance language.

Once a committee is assembled a time and location for meeting will be determined.
